Hey Earth’s Enrichers

African Black Soap
African Black Soap

You all know we at EE have your health in mind all the time, right? Our motto is Our Ingredients Make All the Difference! What You Put on Your Body Is Just As Important As What You Put in Your Body! So, when we say we are making African Black Soap (ABS), we are really making it with you in mind.

Once we heard of the amazing properties of ABS, we decide it was high time to make an EE specialty for our Earth’s Enrichers. How do you like that? The great thing about African Black Soap is that it can be used on the face and the body—it is good for removing impurities from the skin.

ABS can be made with different types of ingredients, so we have given it the EE touch! What sets our African Black Soap apart from others is that ours has Tea Tree oil in it which is good at clearing up various skin infections such as acne.  Also, when using our African Black Soap, it will not dry out your skin while deeply cleansing it. Check out it out:

Why are Cocoa Pods (Beans) are cool for your skin?
– Heals wounds and clears bacteria from the skin
– Protect the skin from UV damage like roughness and redness
– Enhances elasticity and hydration

How is Plantain Skin Super?
– Soothes bug bits and stings
– Heals scrapes and cuts
– Relieves eczema and sunburn
– Reduces chances of scarring

Why is Tea Tree Oil omnipotent in skin care?
– Helps prevent infections
– Adds a protective covering to the skin
– Acts as a strong antibacterial that stunts fungus growth

Ha, we figure that would make you happy. Remember, as we always say, make sure you know your skin and research before you try something new. This helps you avoid any unnecessary discomfort when you are trying to do what’s best for you. Also, our fellow EEers stay cool out there—it’s warm! ^-^

The EE 411: African Black Soap

Have you ever heard of African Black Soap? How about Anago Soap, or Ose Dudu, or Alata Simena? These are all basically the same concepts with varying ingredients. It is a soap with origins hailing from Africa in countries like Ghana. The soap’s signature is its black hue, and some recipes contain natural ingredients like palm ash, cocoa pods, shea butter, tamarind extract, plantain, palm leaves, etc.

Its growing popularity is not only due to its earthly ingredients, but its practical health benefits. It is famous for its soothing of eczema, razor bumps, blemishes, and dark spots. It can be used on your body or hair. It can also be used to relieve skin rashes, dry skin, body odors, or scalp irritation. Depending on the way it’s made, African Black Soap can be packed with Iron, Vitamin A & E, UV protection. We encourage you to do research on African Black Soap because it is not always made with the same ingredients; that way, you can see what you think will work best for you.

Health and Living – Caffeine: Behind the Scene

Coffee to goHey Earth’s Enrichers

Why is it that the thing you love the most can be the thing most detrimental to you? We know that there are a few of you that would love a cup of coffee. It may not even be for a pick-me-up, but because it’s just so delicious. You can get it in as many different flavors as you would like such as pumpkin spice, caramel, hazelnut, French vanilla, mocha, Irish cream, etc.  The same goes for teas like green, black, Earl Grey, jasmine, etc. The same also applies to some popular sodas. What do all these things have in common besides good taste? Caffeine!

Caffeine is the world’s universal pick-me-up! Whenever we feel we aren’t going to make it through the day, we either go for a soda or a cup of coffee. Not to mention a possible energy drink, but energy drinks hardly taste that great. The problem with caffeine is that it is the most heedlessly consumed drug for energy boosts. Some individuals tend to consume it recklessly without thinking about the possible consequences of consuming too much.

Caffeine can be great and all, but you must be careful how much you consume. It can have adverse health effects that can cause discomfort. Just like any drug, it can be addictive. If you are used to consuming large amounts of caffeine and then suddenly decide to quit cold-turkey, it can cause headaches, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and anxiety. In small and controlled doses, caffeine can be helpful. It can help give you the boost you need to complete the day, help reduce the discomfort of headaches and migraines, and it can improve memory functions.

The truth is that not everything you love has to be detrimental to your health. The trick is in playing your cards right. Balance the intake of your favorite things like coffee or soda. It can help benefit your health and increase your performance instead of taking away from it. Enjoy!

The EE 411:  Caffeine – Coffee’s Dark Side

What too much caffeine can do to you:

  • Make you anxious
  • Give you headaches
  • Create mood swings
  • Increase discomfort of menstrual cramps
  • Create an addiction
  • Cause insomnia
  • Produce Chest pains
  • Increase CVD problems and raise heart rate

Even though in excess it can have some adverse health effects, coffee can still benefit you.   Just remember to use it in moderation and look for natural options to keep you motivated throughout the day.
