Have you ever heard of African Black Soap? How about Anago Soap, or Ose Dudu, or Alata Simena? These are all basically the same concepts with varying ingredients. It is a soap with origins hailing from Africa in countries like Ghana. The soap’s signature is its black hue, and some recipes contain natural ingredients like palm ash, cocoa pods, shea butter, tamarind extract, plantain, palm leaves, etc.
Its growing popularity is not only due to its earthly ingredients, but its practical health benefits. It is famous for its soothing of eczema, razor bumps, blemishes, and dark spots.
